Introducing the Green Brief -

Hi everyone! 

Welcome to the first official post on the Green Brief. 

Whether you involve yourself in the current climate conflicts of our time or not, it’s obvious our planet is struggling against human activity: glaciers melting, the ozone layer degrading, water levels rising, and more. Each year, the effects of human activity become increasingly prevalent in our daily lives: increased health risks, increased cost of living, and more. 

As a high school student, I’ve questioned if I have the ability to make meaningful change. While I can’t solve climate change on my own, I find that increased awareness and thoughtful conversations are a great place to begin. That’s why I created this blog, the Green Brief: a place where students can become more informed on the issues that affect every single one of us. Here, I plan to post on current climate topics, environmental issues, and ways we can protect our planet. 

But for now, I’d like to introduce myself: My name is Brian Princiotta, a junior in high school. Since a young age, the fight against climate change has been a passion of mine. I hope to be able to work with like-minded high schoolers and better inform our society of what our planet is facing.
